Ibrahim was found in Arusha daraja mbili (which means ‘Two Bridges’) Unga ltd. He was abandoned near a house and the neighbors notified the police station. The police reported the case to Social welfare under file # UNG/RB/2387/2009 Ref. number MD/AR/DII/6. The baby had a bad health condition - his skin was covered with scabs all over his body. He seemed to be suffering from malnutrition - he recovered shortly after we provided him with a proper diet and adequate medical care. We estimated that he was approximately 2 years and 5 months old but he looked small (his D.O.B. is approximate).
