Samaritan Village Weekly Report - December 6, 2009
Dear all,
The children and staff are fine. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your contributions to help make Christmas a great celebration for the children and for making them feel that you are the part of their parents.
The following friends sent their assistance to the children for Christmas (Family of Mr. Jon Peachey -Canada US $ 250, Lylian Leila Ndze from UN ICTR in Arusha US $1200 for the staff and children to visit Ngorongoro Crater.
In November I received US $ 250 from Sue Person family
US$ 500 from Sue Peachey family and
US$ 700 from Lylian Leila Ndze for the Christmas
The total amount contributed for Christmas was US $ 1450.
Our plan for Christmas is to get new clothes and T-shirts (uniform with staff) for the children, transport to the children to visit other children who are in a more difficult situation, people in the remand home, and children affected with HIV + . This will allow the children to create and build the happy and heart of helping and visiting others in more trouble.
The children will also take Christmas candles and small gifts to the children they will visit.
On December 25th, the Samaritan children and our neighbors’ children will join together in our chapel to celebrate together.

Many thanks to family of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Malya (Arusha) for buy and offer the land to the Samaritan. This piece of land joining with our land back to the existing house. He pay 11milions T.shilings (find attachment shamba)
