The Board
Samaritan Village actually has two boards. The board in Arusha Tanzania oversees local operations while the board in the USA (Yuba City) performs fundraising and supports the Tanzanian board.
Martha Foster Samaritan Village's International President manages relations between the two boards.
The Tanzanian (Arusha) Board
From Left to Right:
- Mrs Lily Washokera: Board Member. Occupation: Secondary teacher.
- Mr Eliniradhi E.Mswia: Treasurer. Occupation: Previously employed by the Tanzanian Revenue Authority, now retired. Currently Regional Chairman of the older people.
- Mrs Monica Kwayu: Chairperson. Occupation: Head Secondary Science teacher.
- Rev'd Obed ole Kilusu: Board Member. Occupation: Pastor.
- Mrs Joyce Mwanga: Secretary. Occupation: Country Co-ordinator within a NGO called 'Women's Economic Groups'.
