Volunteer
Samaritan Village are happy to have volunteers at any time.
Accommodation at the actual village is available for $125 USD per week. In return Samaritan Village will provide:
- Three meals a day (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) based on locally available food.
- Transport to and from town 2 days a week (you can also use public buses)
- 30 minutes free internet access per day
- We can arrange (at your own expense) through a trusted company for you to visit one of the National Parks (eg: Serengeti) or for you to climb one of the nearby mountains such as Mount Kilimanjaro, Mount Meru or Oldonyo Lengai.
In the main house we have a self contained room for the volunteers. We also have a separate Volunteers house in the Village. This house can take 3 persons. If you stay here you will be able to see Mt. Meru.
Alternatively you can arrange your own accommodation in Arusha which caters for all budgets.
Volunteer's House
Transport from Kilimanjaro International Airport can be provided for a group of up to 7 people at a cost of $80 USD (for the group).
Volunteers are advised to arrange their own travel insurance as any medical treatment at the hospital will be at their own cost (cash or Insurance card allowed at AAR hospital).
